WCFA’S featured pet is Theo.  Theo is about 3 years old.  He is Chihuahua/terrier mix.  Theo is neutered, micro chipped and current on vaccines.  He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs and has lived with two dogs and a cat.  Theo will have a dental on December 17th.  Theo needs to lose a few pounds so he needs a family that will work with him through regular exercise and proper diet so he can take off the extra pounds.  He currently weighs 17.7 lbs and should lose about 6 pounds.  Theo enjoys a good walk and is a very sweet young man.

Other Available Pets:

Wally and Beaver are about 16 weeks old and are brothers.  They are beautiful kittens.  Wally has more black and Beaver has more white on him.  Both are current on vaccines, and have been micro chipped and neutered.  These little guys are ready to find their new forever home(s).

Our sweet Beamer is still patiently waiting for his new forever family. He is such a good boy, we are hoping he will find that special family soon.  Beamer is a five year old orange tabby.  Beamer is a very friendly guy, loves belly rubs and will come to greet you in his foster home. Beamer is the most loving cat and would be fine in a home with another calm cat. Beamer would be good for an individual or nice couple who want a loving companion.   He is neutered and current on his vaccines. If you would love a friendly orange cat, apply to adopt Beamer at wecareforanimals.org.

Cal is a quiet, mild mannered 4 year old tabby cat.  He lived with an elderly woman so would do best in a quieter home.  Cal enjoys sitting on the cat tree and watching the world go by.   He is a sweet boy and does not bother anyone.  He just wants a space to sit back and enjoy the scenery.  Once he becomes comfortable in a household he will want to hang around with you for a nice brushing or petting.

Butterfly is about 12 ½ years old.  Her front paws are declawed.  Butterfly is current on vaccines and is spayed.  Butterfly lived with three dogs and they all got along well.  She would do best with a family without small children.

Harry is a Chihuahua mix and is about 8 years old.  He is a super friendly little guy and has been living with two other dogs and a cat.  He loves people.  Harry is current on vaccines, neutered and will have a dental in the next week.  Harry is house trained and knows a dog door.

Ricky is a Chihuahua mix and is about 8 years old.  He is a little shy at first but quickly warms up to you.  Ricky is neutered, current on vaccines and will have a dental in the next week.  Harry has been living with two other dogs and cat.  He is a very nice dog and will do well in a home with another well behaved pet.

Conner is a five month old Corgi.  He is very high energy.  Conner will be neutered and micro chipped on December 3rd and cannot leave WCFA until after that time.  Conner is working on his house training and leash training so will need someone with patience to continue working with him on those issues.  Conner came from a puppy store and was not able to begin his training at an earlier date.  Absolutely no children under 8 for this little guy.  Someone with Corgi experience would be a plus.

WCFA offers a wonderful low-cost/free opportunity to spay/neuter your pets to prevent accidental litters and keep your pet happy and healthy. We will always alter feral cats to be released back in their environment.  Our target areas are Mesquite, Bunkerville and the Arizona Strip.  Spay/Neuter Assistance Applications are available at Mesquite Veterinary Clinic located at 371 Riverside Road and Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital at 660 Hardy Way.  You may also call WCFA at 702-346-3326 to leave a message or visit wecareforanimals.org to contact us by email.  Half of all litters born in the U.S. are accidents that overburden shelters and rescues. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU NEED HELP WITH SPAY/NEUTER.

Fostering is a commitment to save one life.  Foster to save a cat or dog by providing a safe haven until adoption.  It could be the most rewarding thing in your life—saving theirs.  Contact WCFA if you are interested in fostering.  You can complete our foster application at www.wecareforanimals.org.
