It was a great year for soccer teams at Virgin Valley High School. On the girl side, Rainee Brito was named 3A Southern Nevada offensive Player of the Year and Ally Shaner was named defensive Player of the Year. Joining them on the All-Southern Nevada and Sunrise Division first team were, Leslie Salazar, Adison Snyder and Jayde Tafili. Making the Sunrise League first team were Kacie Garrett and Emma Hughes. The Lady Dawgs went 16-3-3 overall and 8-2-2 in League play. The Bulldogs fell 1-0 to South Lake Tahoe in the recently completed Nevada State Tournament. “We had some great achievements this year,” said Coach Scott Trimmings. The Bulldogs will return most of their players next season.

The Bulldog boy soccer team were not left far behind as the Bulldogs garnered 3A Southern and League All-League honors. Freshman Zachary Trimming was named 3A Southern Conference Player of the Year along-side All-League honors. Daven Baltazar, David Baltazar and Rivaldo Chavez were named the 3A Sunrise All-League team. The Bulldogs went 7-9-1 overall this season and made the 3A Sunrise League playoffs.
