Every Third Thursday is a new and informative estate planning class facilitated by Adam Anderson of the law firm, Barney, McKenna and Olmstead. Classes will be held every third Thursday of the month in the boardroom at America First Credit Union, 590 Mesquite Blvd. at noon.

Anderson is a third-generation resident of the Virgin Valley licensed to practice law in Nevada, Utah and Washington.

The first class was held on Oct. 17 with 20 people present; a great start to what will no doubt be useable information on how to protect your assets through wills, trusts, powers of attorney and estate planning. He also discussed relocating from out of state, estate administration after death and other significant material based on what the needs of the class members were; questions are always welcome.

The classes are free to the public and you will never be solicited to use their firm. Every Third Thursday is the firm’s way of giving back to the communities that have supported them over the 20 years they’ve been in business.

“No one is like you and no one is like your family. In our thirty years of combined legal practice we have never seen two cases that are identical. As a result, your estate plan needs to be unique to you. How your assets are handled if you become incapacitated or die should be unique to you. What medical treatment you receive if you are incapacitated should also be unique to you. Who takes care of your children if you are unable should be unique to you and your family. Let us answer your questions so you can make important decisions that are as unique as your or your family.” (Barney, McKenna & Olmstead website)

Barney, McKenna & Olmstead have over 30 years of combined experience with estate planning and are licensed to serve clients in Utah, Arizona, California and Nevada.

Come to ‘Every Third Thursday’ classes and ask real questions from a real attorney without getting a bill at the end.

The next class is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21; seating is limited so they do ask that you please R.S.V.P. to 702-903-2949.
