Sept. 1:

DUI: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers observed the driver might be impaired. A DUI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for DUI.

Fighting: Officers responded to a casino reference a fight in progress. One female was cited and released for battery.

Citizen Assist: Officers responded to a reported harassment at the police department. Information was gathered for report.

Abandoned Vehicle: Officer observed a motor home which had been abandoned for several days off a public roadway. There was no valid registration or plates located within the vehicle.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Report taken of two vehicle collision.

Minor Gambling: Officers responded to a casino regarding underage gambling.  One male

was issued a citation in lieu of arrest.

Lost Property: Officer was advised of a lost wallet. Information report filed.

Found Property: Child’s bicycle found in an empty lot. Placed in MDC for safe keeping.

Alarm: Officers responded to an alarm at a residence.  While en route dispatch

received an authorized cancel.

Wanted person: An adult female was taken into custody for active bench warrants. She was booked into the Mesquite Detention Center on the warrant.

Suspicious Person: Officer responded to a report of a possible theft. Upon investigation the reporting person, who is elderly may be at the beginning stages of mental complications. Items were found and never taken. No crime has been committed.

Traffic Stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense. An adult male and adult female were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The Officers made contact with the male, identified him and confirmed the warrant. The male was taken into custody without incident.

Sept. 2:

Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to a store’s parking lot on a report of a hit and run.

Reckless Driver: Officer responded to a reckless driver on Mesquite Blvd. The complainant signed for a citation.

Intoxicated Person: An intoxicated male was arrested and transported to the Mesquite Detention Center and booked on the charge.

Found Property: Officer completed a report of found property.

Sept. 3:

Traffic Stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop. During the stop the officers conducted an investigation. The result was an ex-felon was found to be in possession of a firearm. The person was charged and taken into custody.

Fraud: Report of attempted identity theft taken

Theft from Vehicle: Officer responded to theft from a vehicle. No suspect information reported.

Lost Property: Officers responded to a report of lost property.  Information was gathered for the report.

Traffic Stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, one adult male was arrested for open container of alcohol in motor vehicle.

Theft: Officer completed a report of a theft.

documented.

Wanted person: Detectives arrested a male with an active Mesquite Municipal Court Warrant.

Theft: A male was arrested for petit larceny.

Sept. 5:

Background Investigation: A Detective completed a business license background investigation.

Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officers took a report for a traffic accident that resulted in injuries. The drive of vehicle 1 was cited for Due Care.

Traffic Stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, one male was cited and released

for open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Officers responded to a call of civil dispute, one male was cited and released for operating without a business license.

Sept. 6:

DUI: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. One female was arrested for DUI 1st.

Wanted person: One adult male was arrested on a Mesquite Municipal Court warrant.

Burglary: Officer responded to a report of a 911 hang up at a gas station. One subject was taken into custody for breach of peace, disorderly conduct, and burglary.

Theft: Officers responded to a call of a theft, the investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 7:

Trespassing: Officers responded to a casino reference a trespass violator. One female adult was cited and released for trespassing.

Suspicious Vehicle:  Two adult females were cited for consuming marijuana in a public place.

Theft from Vehicle: Officer responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.

Controlled Substance Problem: Officers located a vehicle involved in a previous incident. One adult male was issued a citation for drug related offenses and released.
