Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 52 calls this week.

Aug. 22:

Fire Investigation: Battalion 3 responded to a citizen complaint of large flames near Horizon and Hafen. Control burn was being conducted.

Breathing: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a person complaining of difficulty breathing. Rescue 31 transported one person to Mesa View Hospital.

Aug. 23:

Diabetic: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 dispatched to the report of a diabetic problem. No patient was found.

Aug. 24:

Stroke (CVA): Rescue 31 responded with Beaver Dam on an agency assist for a possible stroke. Patient was transported by Beaver Dam Fire.

MVA with Injury: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded on an agency assist with Beaver Dam for a motor vehicle accident with injury. One Person was transported by Rescue 11 to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Aug. 25:

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded for a person having chest pain. One patient transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Fire: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to a call of visible fire and smoke. On arrival, crews found 3-4 small bushes on fire and smoldering. Crews quickly extinguished the fires.

Aug. 26:

Sick Person: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a sick person. Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional.

Heart Problem: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a patient experiencing heart problems Patient refused transport Against Medical Advice.

Aug. 27:

Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional.

Aug. 28:

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of an Unconscious victim. Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional.

Unconscious: Rescue 31 responded to a report of unconsciousness. Rescue 31 transported 1 patient to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
