A perfect example of racial politics was recently exhibited by Ilhan Omar, the Somali-born left-wing member of Congress, whom President Trump recently suggested that she should return to her native country and “fix it,” before presuming to tell others what to do. Other members of her “squad” were also told to go back where they came from and fix problems there. That sounds like, go back to your district and fix local problems instead of trying to change the American system.

Her narrative is of distortion, her default is to blame America first. She explained that local Somali Americans attempted to join the Islamic State because of systemic alienation they experience here in America. Many believe that immigrants typically feel only a tenuous connection to America and many get isolated in ethnic enclaves and consequently never assimilate.

She contends that she has met some American veterans, “who say the most horrendous things, who seem to have a complete disregard for life.”  These are the veterans that served in the very countries where most of these refugees originated; she has also accused some of her congressional colleagues of harboring those same feelings.

Most newcomers were inclined to believe that they had escaped to the greatest country on Earth and in most cases it is. An open, dynamic, generous society that afford opportunities unimaginable back home. Yet, she and her squad do not believe in these opportunities and verbalize their beliefs.

She is strongly supported in these beliefs by Beto O’Rourke a recent candidate for the US Senate from Texas; who’s line of B.S. helped him to become a losing presidential candidate , he just has not admitted it yet. He had a message for refugees who had come to America: Your new country is a hellhole. He told a roundtable of refugees and immigrants in Nashville two weeks ago: “This country was founded on white supremacy, and every single structure that we have in this country still reflects the legacy of slavery and segregation and suppression.”

She arrived at the age of 12 and attended school in Arlington, VA., an affluent Washington, DC, suburb. This was a very hard situation to fit in as she was black and a Muslim. She also was poor and found out she was not like the other kids and did not fit in. Yet, despite all the deprivations, she gained a seat in Congress.

Immigrants like Omar learned to speak English but added the language of oppression. They understand our system but hold it in low regard. They know our history, as taught by the local school system and instructors pushing the progressive agenda.  They may be citizens, but they certainly believe they are victims. So they move into identity politics and personal grievances because of a supposed oppression.

Anyone who thinks these beliefs are alien to the United States has never been to a modern college campus, watched MSNBC or CNN., Ilhan Omar is not well suited to return and fix anything, anywhere. Her behavior suggests that she is preparing for her inevitable royal-coronation into the American elite and will one day, rule over our entire country.
