Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 55 calls this week:

July 7:
Unconscious: Rescues 11 and 32 as well as Battalion 3 responded to report of an unconscious person. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

July 8:
Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to report of abdominal pain. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Patient Transport: Rescue 31 responded to report of a patient transport from a local hospital to a local residence.
July 9:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded on a person that fell. Lift assist only.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a fallen victim. Patient was assisted and refused transport to local hospital.
July 10:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a person bleeding. Patient was transported to local hospital.
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded on a person having a stroke. Patient transported to local hospital.
July 11:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a fallen victim. Patient was assisted. Lift assist only.
Diabetic: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a diabetic emergency. Patient was transported to local hospital.
July 12:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a Fall. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a Fall. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
July 13:
Vehicle Fire: E31 and R31 responded to the call of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival 1 unoccupied vehicle was found to have an engine compartment fire. Crews extinguished the fire and stabilized the incident.
MVA with Injury: E31, R31, R11 responded to a single vehicle rollover. All patients refused medical attention and transport. Scene secured and turned over to PD
