Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 59 calls this week:

May 26:
Drowning (Near): Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to a possible near drowning. Rescue 31
transported one patient to a local hospital.
Fire: Engine 11, Engine 31, Rescue 31 responded to report of a brush fire. On arrival there was no fire found.
May 27:
Breathing: Rescues 31 and 32 responded to report of breathing problems. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded for a fall victim. Lift assist only.
May 28:
Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to report of a sick person. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to report of a fall victim. Lift assist only.
May 29:
Trauma: Rescue 32 reponded to the reports of a minor facial trauma. Person refused
transport to local hospital and signed medical refusal form.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a reported fall victim. Person was assisted but refused transport to local hospital.
May 30:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a sick person. Patient was transported to
local hospital.
Breathing: Rescues 11 and 12 responded to a report of a breathing problem. Patient refused transport to a hospital and signed out against medical advice.
May 31:
Heat/Cold: Rescue 12 responded to the report of a person experiencing heat exhaustion.
Patient signed out against medical advice.
Suspicious person: Rescue 31 was dispatched to a report of an unknown problem/man down. The request for assistance was cancelled by police officers prior to arrival.
June 1:
Heat/Cold: Rescue 31 responded on a person with dehydration. Patient transported to local hospital.
Agency assistance: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to Scenic, AZ, for a person having an allergic reaction. Beaver Dam Fire Department crews were already busy with other calls. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
