Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 57 calls this week:

April 28:
Diabetic: Rescue 11 responded to a reported diabetic problem. One person transported to
local hospital
Laceration: Rescue 11 responded to a person involved in a domestic. Rescue 11 was cancelled after no medical assistance was needed.
April 29:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded on a person with lower GI bleed. Patient
transported to local hospital.
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded on a person with abdomen pain. Patient transported to local hospital.
April 30:
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a reported fall victim. Lift assist only
Chest pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched to the report of chest pain. One person was
evaluated and signed out against medical advice.
May 1:
Unknown problem: Rescue 11 responded to report of an unknown problem. No medical patient found.
Unknown problem: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to report of an unknown problem. No medical patient found.
May 2:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a person falling. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
Vehicle fire: Engines 31, 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a report of a semi-trailer fire. Fire was extinguished.
May 3:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a person fallen. Patient refused transport to hospital.
Patient transport: Rescue 32 responded to the local hospital to transport a patient to a St. George
area facility.
May 4:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to a local care facility on report of abdominal pain. One
patient was transported to a local hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having difficulty breathing. One person was transported to local hospital.
