April 21:
Lost property: Responded to a Valley View Dr. residence on a report of a lost wallet.
Domestic trouble: Officers arrested a female adult for domestic battery at a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino.
April 22:
Suspicious person: Officer responded to a suspicious incident at an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino. One adult female was arrested for multiple warrants.
SRO related activity: Mesquite Police Officers responded to a local school reference a fire alarm. It
was later determined the alarm was falsely activated by two students.
April 23:
Trespassing: Officers cited an adult female for trespassing at a local casino.
Non-Leo incident: Officer was contacted by a patron of a local restaurant who wanted to report their vehicle had just been stolen.
Sexual assault: Mesquite Police Officer responded to the high school reference a SafeVoice tip. The information received is currently being investigated.
Theft: Report taken on theft of property
Traffic accident w/ injuries: Report taken for a 2-vehicle accident that resulted in injury.
Dead body: Officer responded to assist Mesquite Fire; the Officer was advised that an adult
female had deceased. The Clark County Coroner was called.
Theft from vehicle: An officer responded to a residence reference a theft from a motor vehicle. A report was completed.
Domestic violence: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. parking lot for a report of a physical domestic dispute. Upon investigation it was discovered a male had pushed his girlfriend to the
ground during an argument. The male was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery.
Domestic trouble: An adult female was arrested for domestic battery. She was transported to the
detention center and booked.
April 24:
Theft from vehicle: Officers took a report regarding theft from a vehicle on Julian Way.
Fraud: Officer took a report of fraud. The incident was documented.
Lost property: An officer was dispatched to the police department, in reference to a lost
property report.
Hit & Run: Officers responded to a local casino in refence to a hit and run.
Suspicious person: Officers responded to a Mesquite Blvd. neighborhood on a call of a suspicious person. One adult male was arrested for three counts of tampering with a motor vehicle.
April 25:
Theft from vehicle: Officers responded to a business reference a theft from vehicle. A report was
completed.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to an accident involving a vehicle hitting a light pole. One adult male was cited and released for several traffic offenses.
Fraud: An officer received a complaint of possible fraudulent activity occurring. A criminal investigation is ongoing.
Controlled substance problem: I conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. One male and One female were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was also charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Property damage, non- vandalism: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to property damage on a vehicle.
TPO violation: Officers were dispatched to call in reference of a temporary protection order violation.
April 26:
Theft from vehicle: Officer responded to a Gene St. residence for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Officer took a report and investigation is ongoing.
Fraud: An officer received a report of fraudulent activity occurring on a credit card.
Theft from vehicle: An officer took a report of a theft from vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
Theft: Officer took report of stolen wallet. Investigation is ongoing.
Verbal disturbance: Officers responded to a residence reference a verbal dispute. One adult male was arrested for a warrant issued by Bunkerville Township.
Threatening: An officer took a report of an elementary student being threatened by another elementary student on the school bus.
April 27:
Intoxicated person: Officers responded to a E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to an intoxicated male refusing to leave the property. One male adult was arrested for intoxicated pedestrian in
the roadway.
Traffic stop: A detective conducted a traffic stop, where an adult male driver was cited and released on multiple traffic offenses and possession of paraphernalia.
Person on foot: Officer conducted a person stop on an adult female for jaywalking. The female was issued a citation and released.
Controlled substance problem: Subject was contacted for jaywalking. Pills were found in the subject’s possession during a consensual search.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to single vehicle traffic accident, where the driver fled the scene on foot. A description of the driver was provided to a W. Mesquite Blvd. Casino security team, who later found the subject and was arrested.
