Last weekend they played to a sold-out house, got a standing ovation and had a whole lot of fun.
This is your last weekend to see Virgin Valley Theatre Group’s World premiere of “Trouble on the Train” or “How the Virgin Valley got its Name” at the Mesquite Community Theatre, 150 N. Yucca St.
This over the top Melodrama, although not historically accurate, is hysterically funny.
This play is an original musical melodrama written by our own Nancy Arnold and Susan Kjellsen as a fund raiser for the Virgin Valley Theater Group, is set in Lizard, Nevada. Lizard, a one-mule town in the middle of the hot dusty desert, has just one claim to fame: it’s the end of the line for the Bride Train coming in direct from Kansas City.
For ticket information contact the Virgin Valley Theatre Group at www.vvtgnv.com; hurry, tickets are selling fast.
This weekend’s guests include: March 15, Pastor Rick Jackson, Calvary Chapel Mesquite, March 16, Bishop Brian Wursten and March 17, Pastor David Constien, Mesquite Lutheran Church. Don’t miss out on the fun.
