Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 65 calls this week:

March 3:
MVA with Injury: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a motorcycle accident. One
critical patient was transported to a Trauma Center in St. George, Utah.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person who fell. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
March 4:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to reports of a person having difficulty breathing.
The patient refused transported to the hospital and signed out against medical advice (AMA).
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a person fallen. Assisted person off the floor and no further assistance was required.
March 5:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to report of an individual having difficulty breathing. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital.
Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to report of a sick person. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
March 6:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a reported person having a possible stroke. Person refused treatment and transport. Person signed medical refusal form.
Agency Assist: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a reported cardiac arrest. Resuscitation attempts was not attempted due to patient condition.
March 7:
Psychiatric: Rescue 31 responded to a call for a person having psychiatric problems. One person transported to local hospital in Mesquite.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a person having breathing problems. One
person transported to local hospital in Mesquite.
March 8:
Falls: Rescue 31 dispatched to the report of a fall. One person was transported to the
local hospital.
Agency Assist: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to mutual aid request for a report of a two
vehicle accident on I-15. All units were unable to locate incident.
March 9:
Overdose: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a person who overdosed on
medications. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Chest Pain: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to report of an individual with chest pain. Patient was transported to a local hospital.
