Mesquite Community Education Foundation sponsors the third annual Spring Fling March 20 to show off the talent of our Virgin Valley High School students and raise scholarships funds. MCEF is a 501c3 nonprofit that works to help VVHS graduates attend college or trade school.
This year’s theme is “Tiki Time at VVHS.” Festivities start at 5pm with a Polynesian-theme buffet dinner prepared by the culinary arts students. Choir members will sing favorite Hawaiian songs to entertain the crowd, and the VVHS guitar students have learned to play ukuleles just for this event. There will be a dedicated raffle with fabulous prizes to help fill the scholarship bank. So, come to VVHS Island and “Hula for Moola” with the your friends and neighbors!
Advance tickets are $20 per person. Businesses and clubs are encouraged to purchase tables for six for $120 to show their support of our students. Tickets can be purchased at Danielle’s, Mesquite Rec Center and Senior Center and Mesquite Chamber of Commerce.
Can’t be there March 20? Your donation to the 2019 scholarship fund is gratefully accepted.
Checks payable to MCEF can be sent to MCEF treasurer Dan Wright at Bank of Nevada, 11 West
