Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 65 calls this week:

Feb. 24:
Trauma: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a traumatic injury. One patient was
transported to the local hospital.
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to the report of a person with a possible CVA. Rescue 31 transported patient to the local hospital.
Feb. 25:
Sick Person: Rescue 31 responded to reports of a sick person. The patient was transported to a hospital in Utah per patients request.
Back pain: Rescue 31 responded to reports of a person with back pain. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Feb. 26:
MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a vehicle that ran into a brick wall. Upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle refused transport to the hospital
and signed out against medical advice (AMA).
Back Pain: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a person having back pain. One patient requested transported to a hospital in Utah.
Feb. 27:
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to report of a fall victim. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to report of a fall victim. Individual was requesting help getting up off the ground. No medical complaints or injuries.
Feb. 28:
Cardiac arrest: Rescue 31, Rescue 32, Rescue 11 and Battalion 3 responded to a reported cardiac
arrest. Resuscitation attempt was discontinued via telephone from E.D Doctor.
Heart problem: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a reported heart problem. One patient was transported to local hospital.
March 1:
Cardiac arrest: Rescue 11, Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported cardiac arrest. Person was deceased upon arrival, no resuscitation attempts.
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 dispatched to the report of abdominal pain. One person was transported to the local hospital.
March 2:
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a report of someone falling. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
Abdominal pain: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of abdominal pain. One patient was transported to a St George area hospital.
