Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 61 calls this week:

Feb. 17:
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 dispatched to the report of convulsions. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 31 dispatched to the report of a fall. One person was evaluated and signed out against medical advice.
Feb. 18:
Breathing: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a breathing problem. One
patient was transported to the local hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 dispatched to a report of a patient who is dizzy and has fallen. One patient transported to a local hospital.
Feb. 19:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 33 responded on a person having a stroke. Patient transported to St. George hospital.
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded on a person having seizures. Patient transported to local hospital.
Feb. 20:
MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to report of a motor vehicle accident. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person who fell. One patient was transported to a local hospital for fall injuries.
Feb. 21:
Overdose: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a suspected overdose. Person was treated and refused transport, person signed medical refusal form.
Breathing: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported person having difficulty breathing. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Feb. 22:
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported person having convulsions. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Trauma: Rescue 32 responded to a possible traumatic injury. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Feb. 23:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported person with severe abdominal pain. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a person who was reported to be unconscious. One person was transported to local hospital.
