Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 152 calls this week:

Jan. 20:
Minor gambling: A juvenile male was witnessed by Security gambling on a slot machine. The
juvenile and his parent were contacted by Security who notified the Police. Security signed a complaint for minor gaming.
Fraud: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino for a report of defrauding an Inn Keeper.
Two patrons walked out on the coffee shop bill with no intentions of paying.
Both were cited and trespassed.
Citizen assist: A couple came to the Mesquite Detention Center to speak with an Officer to
settle a verbal dispute. Both parties were heard from and advised to be adults.
Jan. 21:
Trespassing: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino on a trespass call. One male was issued a
citation for trespass.
Domestic violence: Officers responded to a call of Domestic violence. One adult male was arrested
for domestic battery.
Wanted person: Officer located a male with two warrants out of the Mesquite Municipal Court. One adult male was arrested for the warrants.
Probation violation: Officer’s responded to a domestic disturbance involving two male suspects. Upon
arrival, officer’s contacted said suspects. Both subjects were taken into custody for various charges.
Jan. 22:
Unknown problem: Responded to Pinyon Ln. residence for agency assist with Mesquite Fire and Rescue for an unresponsive female.
Fraud: Officers responded to a call of a recovered stolen vehicle. The vehicle was
confirmed stolen and St. George Police Department was notified.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the impound of the vehicle.
Wanted person: Responded to Mesquite Justice Center and took one adult female in custody for
Felony Warrant.
Fraud: A theft occurred using counterfeit bills. The unknown suspect(s)purchased the items with the bills and received real currency in return.
Theft: A female individual was witnessed stealing from a local department store. Female was detained and arrested for larceny.
Jan. 23:
Dead body: Officers responded to a Bannock St. residence for an unattended death of an adult female.
The death did not appear suspicious. Clark County Coroner’s Office took custody
of the body.
Theft: An officer responded to a local grocery store reference a report of theft of
services. One male suspect was identified, and charges are pending.
Wanted person: Officer made contact with a wanted male at the Mesquite Detention Center. The
male was taken into custody for his warrant.
Fraud: An officer took a report over the phone for a fraud committed at a local bank.
The investigation is ongoing.
Robbery: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. RV Park for a report of a robbery. Officers and Detectives responded an completed an initial investigation and attempted to identify and locate the suspects. Investigation is ongoing.
Theft from vehicle: Officer completed a theft from vehicle report.
Minor gambling: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to a minor gambling. One male adult was cited and released for underage gambling.
Jan. 24:
Suicidal person: Police responded to a report of an attempted suicide. One adult female was
transported to the hospital and placed on a legal 2000 hold.
Lost property: Officer responded to the lobby of the police department for a report of a possible burglary. After speaking with the reporting person an incident number was given for lost property.
Theft: Police took a report for theft from mail.
Found property: Officer responded to a Riverside Rd. residence for a report of found property. Officer took custody and secured it until the owner could be identified and claim it.
Property damage, non-vandalism: Officers responded to an Apple Tree Ln. residence and took a report of property damage to a community mail box.
Minor gambling: Officer was dispatched to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino for a minor gambling. The minor was issued a citation and released.
Wanted person: Officers located a male who was known to have a warrant. The male was arrested
on the warrant.
Jan. 25:
Burglary: An officer completed a burglary report.
Wanted person: Officers located a male at an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino with an active warrant. The male was arrested on the warrant.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Police responded to a single vehicle accident. A report was taken.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident. One female driver was issued a citation.
Found property: Police responded to a report of a found wallet. The wallet was booked into the evidence vault as found property.
Fighting: Officers responded to a fight at a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino. A male adult was arrested and
transported to the Mesquite Detention Center.
Jan. 26:
Burglary: Police took a report for a possible home burglary on Adobe Dr..
Found Property: Officers responded to a Falcon Ridge Pkwy business reference a found wallet. The wallet was booked into safekeeping at the Mesquite Detention Center.
