Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 53 calls this week:

Jan. 20:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 31 responded to the report of an elderly female complaining of a nose bleed. Rescue 31 transported patient to the local hospital.
Psychiatric: Rescue 32 responded for a person with a behavioral problem. Patient signed out against medical advice.
Jan. 21:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an unconscious person. Rescue 31
transported one patient to a local hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of breathing problems. On arrival Rescue 11 performed a simple lift assist.
Jan. 22:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an unconscious person. Rescue 31
transported one patient to a local hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of breathing problems. On arrival. Rescue 11 performed a simple lift assist.
Jan. 23:
Cardiac arrest: Rescue 11, Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported cardiac arrest. After
Extensive resuscitative efforts where unsuccessful, Pt was pronounced deceased by
doctor.
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 dispatched to the report of convulsions. One person was
transported to the local hospital.
Jan. 24:
Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to a reported sick person. One person transported to hospital in Las Vegas
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to a reported sick person. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Jan. 25:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 dispatched to the report of an unconscious person. Person denied medical care and signed out against medical advice.
Odor investigation: Truck 31 and Rescue 31 dispatched to an odor investigation, no fire or emergency
found.
Jan. 26:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded on a person unconscious person. Patient transported to local hospital.
Fire alarm: Engine 11, Truck 31, and Rescue 31 responded on a commercial fire alarm. No smoke and no fire. Alarm reset and system shows all clear. Command terminated
and all units available.
