The Mesquite Lifelong Exercise Program includes many programs that provide a great balance of two components: aerobic fitness and musculoskeletal fitness. Some people focus on only one component of fitness and neglect the other. Such is not the case for the Lifelong dancers; not only do they focus on all aspects of fitness, they have great fun doing it.
The dancers want to share some of their passion with the public this Friday at the Mesquite Library. Join the Lifelong dancers as they celebrate Christmas; the show is free to the public.
Don’t forget all the other great programs the library has to offer, from child books to connecting you to the workforce; there is something for everyone, no matter your age. If you want to learn how to use social media to keep up with the grandkids or kids that never call, the library can help.
How about developing a prototype of a toy, key chain or craft item? The Library can help you with some 3D skills that will have that vision brought to life in no time. The library is open Monday through Saturday; if you haven’t been there yet, you’re missing a great experience.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 you can gather some Christmas spirit at the Mesquite Community Theater when Mary Kay’s Cowboy Christmas hits the stage.
Eight years in the running, this memorable family-oriented program consists of Mary Kaye’s original cowboy and Christmas songs as well as classic western and Christmas tunes.
