Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 150 calls this week:

Dec. 2:
Stolen vehicle: Officers responded to a Cinco Ct. residence reference a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was entered into the national database for stolen vehicles and a report was completed.
Stolen vehicle: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. hotel reference a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen and a report was completed.
Dec. 3:
Recovered stolen vehicle: Officers responded to a Riverside Rd. parking lot reference a stolen vehicle that had been located. The vehicle was processed by Mesquite Detectives and then towed.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. No Injuries were reported at the time of the accident and a report was completed.
Found property: Officer retrieved a found female wallet. The wallet was booked into the evidence vault for safe keeping.
Battery on person: Officers responded to the hospital reference a battery. A report was completed for documentation purposes.
Theft: Officers responded to the Mesquite Police Department reference a theft. A report was completed.
Dec. 4:
Kidnapping: Detectives with the assistance of LVMPD Detectives investigated an alleged kidnapping.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries. One male was cited and released.
Theft: Officers responded to a Three Springs Ct. residence to take a report of a past theft.
Domestic violence: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence between husband and wife. Prior to the Officers arrival the male subject fled the scene. Investigation is still ongoing at this time.
Dec. 5:
Found property: Officer responded to a Second South St. park for a report of a found bicycle. Officer took custody of the bicycle for safe keeping and booked it into found property.
Burglary: Officers responded to a residence on a report of a burglary.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries. One male was cited for causing the accident.
Dec. 6:
Reckless driver: Officers responded to a local business reference a reckless driver in the parking lot. One male was cited.
Weapon offense: Officers responded to a report of shots fired at an Osprey St. residence. Investigation is ongoing.
Sexual assault: Officers took a report from Child Protective Services of a possible sexual assault of a minor.
Dec. 27:
Suspicious person: Officer responded to a Grayce Dr. residence reference missing property. An officer’s
Report was taken.
Burglary: Officer responded to a Hawk St. residence for a report of a suspicious incident. Officer discovered the residence had been broken into and burglarized. Investigation is ongoing.Domestic Violence: Officer arrested a male adult for domestic violence.
Theft from vehicle: An officer responded to a Grapevine Dr. address in reference to a lost or stolen license plate.
Domestic violence: Officer arrested a male adult for domestic battery and false imprisonment.
Dec. 8:
Hit & Run: Officers took a report of a possible hit and run at a Mesa Blvd. casino.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to an accident involving two vehicles. One adult female was issued a citation for following to close.
Traffic stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a violation. The driver had 9 active arrest warrants out of Las Vegas Justice Court. She was arrested for the traffic violation and transported to the detention center to post bail.
Wanted person: Officer responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence in search of a person with an outstanding felony warrant. The individual was home and was arrested without incident.
