Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 122 calls this week:

Oct. 28:

Theft: Report taken of theft of equipment from a construction yard.

Domestic violence: Officers responded to a residence on a domestic incident. After further investigation, one adult female was arrested for domestic battery.

Hit & Run: Officer responded to a hit and run private property accident. One adult male was located and cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Oct. 29:

Wanted person: One adult male was arrested for an active bench warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court.

Suspicious person: Spoke with citizen regarding protection order.

Fraud: Officer completed a report of credit card fraud.

Threatening: Officers responded to a verbal dispute between a mother and adult son at a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence. Upon investigation it was discovered the son had an active warrant out of Mesquite Municipal court. He was taken into custody on the warrants.

Oct. 30:

Wanted person: Detectives arrested a male and female who had outstanding felony warrants out of Colorado.

Found property: Student located a damaged phone and turned it into the SRO.

Suspicious person: Officer completed a report of a male having his furniture swapped for older furniture while out of town.

Oct. 31:

Found property: An officer found a pair of glasses in a case in the roadway.

Property damage, non -vandalism: Officer responded to a local residence under construction for a report of vandalism. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.

Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries. One female was cited and released.

Lost property: Officer completed a lost property report.

Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. One male was cited and released for an open container of alcohol inside a moving vehicle.

Minor gambling: Officers observed a minor gambling in an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino. The minor was issued a citation and released on scene.

Wanted person: Officers located a female with a warrant at a local business. The female was arrested on the warrant.

Nov. 1:

Suspicious person: Officers were dispatched to a Canyon View Way residence, in reference to an unknown problem.

Agency assistance: Officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. The driver was arrested for an active warrant out of Mesquite Justice Court.

Hit & Run: Officers responded to an E. Mesquite Blvd. casino reference a report of a hit and run.

Wanted person: On Nov. 1, at approximately 07:00 hours, I received a call from Las Vegas City Jail regarding a Mesquite Municipal Court warrant they had just confirmed with my dispatch. I responded to 3200 E Stewart Avenue in Las Vegas. I identified Wagoner by asking him his name and date of birth. I placed Wagoner in custody for the above warrant at approximately 14:03 hours and transported him to Mesquite Detention center without incident; nothing further at this time.

Suicidal person: Officers responded to a Sun Valley Dr. residence on a report of a suicidal person. One male was transported to the local hospital on a legal 2000 hold.

Trespassing: Officers responded to a Riverside Rd. commercial building for a report of a trespass violation. One male subject was issued a citation for trespass violation and released with a court date.

Nov.2:

Theft: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino for a report of theft. Officer determined no theft had occurred.

Keep the peace: Officers responded to a business reference a keep the peace. A report was completed.

Phone harassment: Detectives received a complaint about a Court Order violation.  Detectives took a report and are attempting to locate the suspect.

Lost property: Officer responded to the police department for a lost property report.

Traffic stop: Officers made traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The male driver was arrested on a Felony warrant.

Burglary: Officers responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business on a report of a theft. Upon arrival, one female fled the area and was later located. An additional female was contacted on scene and arrested. Both adult females were arrested for possession of methamphetamines and heroin as well as possession of stolen property and burglary.

Suicidal person: Officers were dispatched to attempt to locate a suicidal subject.  An adult male subject was later taken into custody for a legal 2000 and transported to the hospital.

Nov. 3:

Trespassing: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to an intoxicated male trespassing. The male was cited for trespassing and released.

Fighting: Officers responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. hotel, in reference to a fight.

Trespassing: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino reference an intoxicated male. The male was arrested for trespassing.

Wanted person: Officers made contact with a male with two no bail warrants out of the Mesquite Municipal Court. The male was arrested for the warrants.

Wanted person: Officers made contact with a male who had a confirmed warrant out of the Mesquite Municipal Court. The male was arrested for the warrant.

Phone harassment: Officers responded to a local residence, in reference to a harassment.  An adult male subject was cited and released for breach of peace.

Intoxicated person: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino reference an unruly intoxicated male. One male was arrested for breach of peace and resisting a public officer.
