The Virgin Valley High boys and girls tennis teams are down to their final four matches of the regular season.

The Bulldogs tuned up for their final stretch by defeating Mojave of North Las Vegas Thursday afternoon at the VVHS tennis courts. It was the final home match for the Bulldogs.

The boys defeated the Rattlers 16-2 with David Vogel going to 2-0 in singles play to help pave the way for the Bulldogs. The girls were credited with a 12-0 victory by forfeit.

Virgin Valley will be on the road for its final four matches of the season. The Bulldogs will play a non-league match at Eldorado Monday and then face league foe Valley on Thursday.

Next week, the Bulldogs will close out regular-season play at The Meadows School in Las Vegas on Monday and at rival Moapa Valley Tuesday in Overton.

Both the boys and girls teams are 8-2 overall and 6-2 in league play.
