June 10:

Verbal Disturbance: Officers responded to a Buffalo Run residence on a verbal dispute. An adult female was cited and released for disturbing the peace.

Theft: Officer responded to a business reference a theft. An adult female was arrested for petit larceny.

June 11:

Trespassing: Officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino for a trespass violator. Upon arrival a male was identified and confirmed to have been trespassed. The casino employee signed a complaint against the individual.

Person on foot: A male was observed at a local bus stop to be involved in an earlier incident.

Trespassing: Casino Security at an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino issued a female adult a citation for trespassing.

Wanted person: Responded to MDC on subject turning self in on a Bench Warrant.

Trespassing: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino reference a trespass violator. An adult male was issued a citation for trespassing.

Fraud: Responded to MPD on a report of Identity Theft.

Found property: Motorist turned in a megaphone which they found on the roadway; will attempt to locate owner.

Intoxicated person: Responded to report of an adult male refusing to leave the property of a W. Mesquite Blvd. resort. Male was intoxicated and proceeded to enter the roadway outside the marked crosswalk. Subject was arrested for Intoxicated Pedestrian in the Roadway.

Theft: Took report of a purse stolen from a local business.

June 12:

Suspicious person: An adult male was arrested for trespassing and booked into Mesquite Detention Center.

Traffic accident w/o injury: Took a report of two car collision on private property. No injuries. Insurance information was exchanged.

Controlled substance problem: Responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino on a report of adult male possibly using narcotics. After further investigation 3 males were taken into custody.

Burglary: Officer responded to a residence on a report of a Burglary. A report was completed. The investigation is ongoing.

June 13:

Agency assistance: Police responded to a report of a deceased person. The death was determined to be of natural causes.

Domestic violence: Officers responded to a domestic battery call on Jacaranda Way. Officers determined a domestic battery had occurred and are attempting to locate the other party.

Citizen assist: Police took a report for harassing text messages.

Fraud: Officer completed a fraud report. The Officer sent the fraud to the Mesquite Detectives for further investigation.

Domestic violence: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. motel reference a domestic violence call. One adult male was arrested for domestic battery.

June 14:

Theft from vehicle: Officer completed a theft from motor vehicle report.

Hit & Run: Police took a report for a hit and run accident. Officers are attempting to identify the suspect.

Phone Harassment: Officers responded to a W. Hafen Ln.  business reference a harassment call. The case is currently being investigated.

June 15:

Suspicious person: Officers were dispatched to an Old Mill Rd. apartment complex, in reference to an intoxicated person, who was lying on the ground, with his pants partially down. This subject was too intoxicated to walk on his own.  After this subject refused to be transported to the hospital he was taken into civil protective custody.

Controlled substance problem: Officer observed a wanted person driving a motor vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. One adult male and one adult female were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other traffic related charges

Property damage, non -vandalism: Report taken on property damage at a local complex.

Trespassing: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Rd. business in reference to a trespass violation. One male was cited for the violation.

Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to the parking lot of a W. Pioneer Blvd. shopping center reference an accident.  Upon arrival, the driver was administered medical aid by Mesquite Fire and Rescue.  The Officer’s investigation concluded the driver could have been impaired resulting in her arrest.

June 16:

Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer responded to the desert area on the north end of Mesquite reference a vehicle in a wash. The vehicle was towed and the owner contacted.

Civil matter: Officer took a courtesy report for a local homeowner.

Hit & Run: Officer responded a Moss Dr. Condominium complex reference a hit and run accident. A report was taken and investigation is ongoing.

Wanted person: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business in reference to a wanted person. One male was arrested on the warrant, two counts of possession of schedule I narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. One female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Keep the peace: An officer assisted on a civil standby during a child custody exchange.
