James (Jim) Alan Clemens, Karisa Brianne Skillicorn Clemens, and their infant daughter, Juliana LaVee Clemens, all of San Angelo, Texas, were called home on April 7, 2018, after sustaining fatal injuries in an automobile accident.

Jim and Karisa met in Houston near Karisa’s hometown of Spring.  They were married in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 29, 2009.  Jim completed his B.S. in manufacturing engineering at Brigham Young University. After graduation, the couple came home to raise their family in Texas.  Jim and Karisa loved and served their Lord Jesus Christ, were devoted and loving parents, were examples of faith, hope, friendship, and service to all who knew them, and will be dearly missed.

 

Jim, 31, Karisa, 29, and Juliana, 8 weeks, are survived by 4 children – Angela Rose, 8, Zachary Michael, 5, Wyatt Branden, 4, and Nicholas Everett, 2; parents Lawrence and Colleen Clemens of San Angelo, Texas, and Richard and Susan Skillicorn of Spring, Texas; siblings – John Clemens of Hannibal, Missouri, Hillary Clemens of Mesa, Arizona, Robyn Clemens Becker of San Angelo, TX, Tasha Skillicorn Willis of Spring, TX, Jeremy Skillicorn of Spring, TX, Elyssia Skillicorn Browning of Eckelson, North Dakota, and Jacee Skillicorn of Spring, TX.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Harper Funeral Home, in San Angelo, TX.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21st, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 4475 Southwest Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904.  Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the educational fund for the Clemens children.  Donations may be made to the “Clemens Children’s Fund” at any San Angelo Wells Fargo location, checks payable to “Clemens”.  If not in San Angelo, donations can be made at https://www.youcaring.com/survivingfamilyofjimandkarisaclemens-1162489 .
