The Mesquite Regional Sports and Event Complex has hosted qualifying for the Volvik World Long Drive Championship since.
Qualifying Series events are promoted as “Long Drive Weekends” featuring two days of qualifying events concluding with a Final Qualifier each day. Each day of Preliminary Qualifying will feature 4 qualification events as per the times listed above. Each preliminary qualifying event will produce four different winners and those competitors will advance to the Final Qualifier held that day at the time specified above. The Final Qualifier consists of 16 competitors that advanced from the Preliminary Qualifiers who will compete in compete in a five set point format. The top three hitters advance to the field of the 2018 Volvik World Long Drive Championship. The same process is repeated on Day two for Preliminary and Final Qualifying.
American Trilogy is the new Las Vegas hit show that brings together three of the greatest and most beloved entertainers in popular music history – “Frank Sinatra” (Gary Anthony), “Elvis Presley” (Eli Williams) and “Neil Diamond” (Rob Garrett).
In addition to performing solo segments backed by a live band, the show includes interaction between each of the performers before the audience gets treated to the ultimate trifecta as the stars unite for a moving, upbeat and patriotic finale.
This month the Desert Dames Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at noon in the Eureka Casino Grand Canyon Ballroom.
The Dames promote friendship through meetings, social functions, and special interest groups. Anyone 21 years or older that lives in Mesquite or the surrounding areas can join. For more information, contact 702-345-3477.
