Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three Las Vegas residents on the evening of June 16.

Alejandro Ocampo-Gort, 34, was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, forgery – possession of forged instrument, criminal possession – forgery device, aggravated taking ID – person/entity, theft credit card – control, fraudulent use of credit card, unlawful use scanning device and fraudulent scheme/artifices, all felonies, along with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor.

Jacqueline Nichole Schaufele, 26, was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, forgery – possession of forged instrument, criminal possession – forgery device, aggravated taking ID – person/entity, theft credit card – control, fraudulent use of credit card, unlawful use scanning device and fraudulent scheme/artifices, all felonies.

Cassidy Shawn Pecora, 23, was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop southbound on Interstate 15 at milepost 28. Deputies contacted Ocampo-Gort, the driver, and Schaufele and Pecora, passengers. A records check showed Ocampo-Gort to have a suspended driver’s license. Ocampo-Gort was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed several items of drug paraphernalia and heroin. Schaufele and Pecora were taken into custody without incident.

The search also revealed credit card scanning device, fake ID printing machines and other devices for skimming. Several fake ID’s were located along with stolen credit cards. Tax documents from several individuals including copies of their driver’s licenses and social security cards.

Investigations thus far have determined there are two victims.

Alejandro Ocampo-Gort, Schaufele and Pecora were transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene. This investigation continues.
