Mesquite Regional Business (MRB) announced they received a $500 investment from Nevada Bank and Trust.

Justin Teerlink, Branch Manager of Nevada Bank and Trust, presented the check to MRB President, Rachel Dahl. Teerlink is a native of Mesquite and has returned to the community to further his career and raise his family after completing his education in finance at Dixie State, “I grew up here, went to school and came back. I love this town and would love to see it grow to its potential”.

Nevada Bank and Trust is no stranger to small, rural communities. Started in Caliente, Nevada by a group of rural Nevada businessmen, the group obtained a bank charter and opened the first office in 1978. Since that time, additional offices have been opened in Ely, Elko, and Mesquite. Nevada. “As a bank, the better Mesquite does, the better we do.”

MRB’s Board of Directors is seeking community-minded corporations and individuals to support the non-profit economic development organization and its programs. MRB provides services to businesses requesting information and/or assistance to expand their businesses in the Mesquite region. To date, MRB has successfully assisted Star Nursery, UTi Transport, Solstice RV Park, and the REV Group, in establishing their presence in the Mesquite Region. Other financial supporters of MRB include TDS, and Rick Anderson of Nevada Residential Construction and Eagles Landing.
