Mesquite Regional Business (MRB) announced the receipt of a $2,000 investment from American Bank of the North on Feb. 23. American Bank has done business for many years in the Mesquite area, and holds several commercial properties that they are looking for business to move into. They have worked closely with MRB to try and accomplish this.

American Bank representative Steve Arbour presented the check to MRB President, Rachel Dahl saying, “I applaud local government and community leaders in establishing the Mesquite Regional Business. The organization has done a great job of raising awareness of the opportunities in Mesquite far beyond the borders of town. MRB has done a good job of marketing our properties, working within the community to network with business people and determine their needs also. American Bank hopes the business community will step up with support, as we are, to keep the important work of MRB going strong”.

Dough Reath, Premier Properties’ Realtor, works with Arbour to market the bank properties. MRB often works in coordination with local realtors to provide support for potential projects.

Reath said, “when we need demographics and other assistance for developers considering the area for future projects, I can always rely on Rachel to be available with current, accurate information and assistance. MRB is a valuable resource and we encourage other commercial real estate professionals to utilized their services.”

MRB’s Board of Directors is seeking community-minded corporations and individuals to support the non-profit economic development organization and its programs. All services are free to businesses requesting information and/or assistance to expand their businesses in the Mesquite region. To date, MRB has successfully assisted Star Nursery, UTi Transport, Solstice RV Park, and the REV Group in establishing their presence in the Mesquite Region. Other financial supporters of MRB include TDS, and Rick Anderson of Nevada Residential Construction and Eagles Landing.
