Virgin Valley Artists Association artists have pulled out some of their best work to display at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery’s Artist’s Showcase exhibit showing now through April 1.

You won’t want to escape to Key Largo when you see Floyd Johnson’s paintings of Casablanca. Johnson is usually far more colorful in his paintings although he’s captured the essence of Bogart and Bacall perfectly in this 4 x 8 display of black and white. These and many other fine works of art are on display now through April 1 during the Artist’s Showcase Exhibition held at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery. Photo by Teri Nehrenz

Local artists have chosen pieces to be displayed in a 4×8 space on the gallery walls located at 15 W. Mesquite Blvd. The exhibit provides a floor to ceiling visual feast for anyone walking into the gallery with several artists displaying stunning work in a variety of mediums from pottery and jewelry to digitally enhanced photographs.

All art displayed in the exhibit is for sale as well as what is available in their gift shop and jewelry displays.

The VVAA is holding the open house reception for this exhibit on March 23 from 4-6 p.m. The public is invited. You are always welcome to stop by the gallery Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
