More than 20 + participants from the Southern
part of the State of Utah took part in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Sectional competition hosted by
The City of Mesquite Department of Athletics & Leisure Services on October 15, 2016 at the
Mesquite Sports and Event Complex in Mesquite, Nevada.
These youngsters earned the honors in their respective age groups and the City they will be
representing in San Jose, California at a San Francisco 49ers game.

The City of Mesquite competitors had a great showing by taking home 9 Sectional
Championships and 2 Second place finishes’. We are very proud of all of these individuals for
going and competing at the next level.
