Eleven girls from Beaver Dam, Bunkerville and Mesquite have been rehearsing for four weeks, every Saturday morning, under the direction of Maria Stevens, so they could bring a little Christmas joy to the residents of both Highland Manor and the Bee Hive assisted living center. Stevens organized the girls just for her own community service endeavors, she’s not part of any organization, she just loves to volunteer. The girls performed four hula dances along with both Hawaiian and traditional Christmas songs. Photo by Teri Nehrenz
Meet the Keiki girls from the River! Carmen, Aaliyah, Angel, and Carla have been with the progam for 5 years. Isabella, Sophia, Riley, Hyden, Tati, Brinley, Whitley are newcomers. These beautiful girls are involved with Kick Soccer during the season. I am bless to have these girls in my life and they will always have a special place in my heart.
The Keiki girls performed last night at the Lutheran church in Mesquite. They will be in the Beaver Dam parade Saturday and will performed after the parade. My gratitude to the parents!
