It’s time to spread some holiday cheer at Highland Manor. Deck the doors of the residents with your best holiday design and light up the spirits of the residents.
Many of the residents can’t get out see the holiday lights and decorations. Let’s help bring the holiday spirit indoors to them.
This is Highland Manor’s third annual “Adopt a Door” contest and it’s open to groups or individuals. In past years many of the local businesses took the time to spread some holiday joy with over 50 decorated doors and the residents loved it all.
Sign-ups and specific contest rules are available from the reception office Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The receptionist will be happy to help you with any questions regarding limitations and assignment of your door.
Decorating can begin on Nov. 25 and must be completed by Dec. 5. Hours for decorating will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. daily. Please be mindful that many of the residents retire early so quiet decorating is appreciated.
Please make sure your design doesn’t block doorways, hallways or handrails or impair entrance to rooms.
Voting will take place between Dec. 12-16. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m. on Dec. 19. Awards will be presented for Staff Choice, Resident Choice and most likes on Facebook.
In lieu of a monetary entry fee Highland Manor is asking for a donation of 1-2 canned good which will be donated to the Virgin Valley Food Bank.
