The Mesquite Arts Council is proud to announce that their Festival of Trees is underway and off to a great start. They’ve got more trees this year than they’ve had in years past and more vendors too.
There’s plenty of entertainment to keep the crowd tapping thier toes and whistling some tunes as you wander through the 59 trees on display from local business and private individuals. Some of the trees are up for auction so come on down and check out the possibilities.
Holiday shopping is a cinch for that hard to buy guy or gal; vendors have an abundance of handmade, one of a kind items that any person “who has everything” wouldn’t have.
Santa and Mrs. Clause have left the North Pole and will be traveling this way so the kids can meet them at noon on Saturday. Parents might want this opportunity to let the kids visit Santa and take a picture; this will be the only Santa sighting in Mesquite this year, except for the Parade of Lights according to sources from the North Pole.
Don’t miss the Festival of Trees, it’s a great start to the holidays all for a couple of bucks and a can of food for the food bank.
