This month’s Mesquite Fine Arts Center exhibit is sponsored by the Eureka Casino. Visit the Mesquite Fine Arts Center now through September 3 and you will see over 40 entries lining the gallery walls in August’s exhibit depicting each artist’s own version of ‘All in a Row’.

Artists have used a variety of mediums in the exhibit from digital photography to carved gourds. As you wander through this themed exhibit you’ll be sure to find something eye-catching and maybe even laugh-inducing.

A reception for the artists will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Winners taking first, second, third place, honorable mention and Best of Show will be judged during the exhibit by the VVAA members. Winning entries will be given their ribbons during the exhibit.   People’s Choice and Sponsor’s Choice winners won’t be announced until the reception.

Take a tour of the gallery and you might just find that one art piece that is a perfect fit for your wall, table or mantel. Maybe you can find a special gift for that someone who has everything. Local artists create jewelry, greeting cards, wall art and three dimensional pieces in a variety of mediums; it’s all one of a kind and it’s all for sale.

Association. Members provide the artwork on display and partial proceeds from the sale of pieces help to support the VVAA and the gallery.
