The Mesquite Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be hosting a special class on Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Mesquite, 700 Hardy Way. The topics for the evening include 72-hour preparedness and information on the Zika Virus currently spreading worldwide.
