Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. This week, there were 178 total incidents in the blotter:

May 15:

Domestic Violence IP: Officers were dispatched to a Pulsipher Ln. residence, reference a domestic battery. The officers arrived and conducted an investigation of the incident. The suspect had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival. The investigation continues.
Wanted Person: Officer responded to a W. Hafen Ln. residence on a report of a disorderly female subject.  Upon arrival officers identified the female and placed her under arrest for an outstanding warrant.
Suspicious/Person:  Officer was contacted by a citizen regarding an unknown adult male who was talking to his three juvenile daughters while they were playing at a local park. The father wanted to make it a matter of record.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officer responded to a Falcon Ridge Pkwy. parking lot regarding a report of property damage.  Officer took photos of the damage and a report was taken.
Fighting IP: Officers responded to a Riverside Rd. apartment complex on a report of a fight in progress between several individuals.  Upon arrival officers determined it was a verbal dispute involving children and adults.  All parties were warned about handling this situation differently and both parties separated for the evening.
Traffic Stop:  The officer conducted a traffic stop for a minor traffic violation. The stop resulted in the driver being arrested for DUI.
May 16:

Lost Property: Officer spoke with a citizen regarding a lost wallet.  Officer obtained all information and a report was generated.
Stolen Vehicle: An officer took a report of a stolen ATV trailer, stolen from an Arquello Cir. storage facility. Report was taken and the theft is under investigation.
Welfare Check:  Officers were requested to conduct welfare check on 3-year-old female child on Arquello Cir. Check was requested due to an ongoing custody dispute.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Officers responded to a suspicious person in a vehicle at a Sun Valley Dr.  apartment complex parking lot.
Theft:  An officer took a report of theft from a Mesquite business. Information and evidence was gathered and the theft is under investigation.
Juvenile Problem:  Officers responded to a local residence reference a juvenile who had run away from home.  The female was identified and attempts to locate the female are ongoing.

May 17:

Suspicious/Vehicle: Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in a second North St. neighborhood, one male was arrested with multiple charges.
Fraud: Officer responded to a local residence regarding check fraud.  Officer obtained statements from the victim and witnesses.  All information will be forwarded to detectives for further investigation.

May 18:

Theft from Vehicle: An officer responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino reference a vehicle burglary. Several items had been removed and property was damaged.
Abuse/Neglect: Officer responded to a report of possible elder abuse at the hospital. Officer spoke to all parties involved and determined there was no evidence of abuse.
Battery on Person: Officer responded to a report of a verbal dispute between residence of an apartment complex on Mesa Blvd. After investigation one male subject was taken into custody for battery.
Fraud: An officer responded to an Amina Cir. residence reference fraudulent use of a credit card. A report was taken for documentation.
Fraud:  Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business for a report of fraudulent money. The investigation revealed the person who possessed the money was not at fault.
May 19:

Intoxicated Person: Officers responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence for a report of an intoxicated female who was refusing to leave. The female left when told to by officers but continued to yell profanities while in the parking lot. The female was arrested for breach of peace.
Lost Property: An officer responded for a lost property report on Tucson St.
Fraud: An officer responded to the front lobby for a report of fraudulent charges on a debit card.
Agency Assistance: A report was taken for found drug paraphernalia on First West St. in Bunkerville. The reporting party located the paraphernalia in her child’s bedroom and wanted to make police aware of the incident.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to a Sun Valley Dr. apartment complex reference vandalism to a vehicle.  A report was taken to document the incident.

May 20:

Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  An Officer conducted a welfare check for the high school on a former student.
Stolen Vehicle: Police took a report of a stolen trailer on Southridge Dr.
Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic violence call at an apartment complex on Riverside Dr. After investigation one female subject was taken into custody for domestic battery.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism:  An officer took a property damage report on a citizen’s vehicle.
Trespassing IP: An officer was dispatched to a Pioneer Blvd. casino, in reference to a trespass violator.  An adult male subject was taken into custody for trespassing.
Missing Person: An officer responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence, in reference to a missing person. The missing person was located a short time later.
Identification Check: An officer was dispatched to a Pioneer Blvd. casino, in reference to an ID check.  An adult male subject was cited and released for minor gambling.
May 21:

Theft: Officers responded to a local business for a report of shoplifting. Officers contacted the male offender and found him in possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and petit larceny.
Theft:  Police responded to a S. Arrowhead Ln. laundromat reference a coin machine being broken into. A report was taken.
Wanted Person: Officer came in contact with a subject with an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was taken into custody and transported without incident.
Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident on Verllonia St.  A report was taken.
Domestic Violence IP: Officers were dispatched to a Riverside Dr. residence in reference to a domestic in progress.  Both people involved denied that they were in an argument and they did not want to cooperate with the police.  Both subjects were very intoxicated.
Disorderly Conduct IP:  Officers responded to a residence for a report of a dispute among roommates. There were no threats or violence among the involved parties and each agreed to remain separated for the remainder of the evening.
Theft: An officer responded to a theft of trailer propane tanks.  A report was taken and the investigation continues.
Agency Assistance:  Officers responded to an apartment complex on E. Old Mill Rd. to assist Mesquite Fire Department. Upon arrival an adult male fled by foot, but was caught by officers.  The male was arrested and transported to the Mesquite Detention Center for obstruction.
Domestic Violence IP W/ Gun: Officers responded to a N. Grapevine Rd. residence, in reference to a verbal argument between a husband and wife.  The couple was separated for the evening.
