Walter White, co-concertmaster of the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra, will be featured as a violin soloist playing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held in the Mesquite CasaBlanca Hotel Resort Showroom.

Mr. White’s orchestra experience includes performances in numerous professional orchestras in various parts of the country including the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham, AL, and in Texas the Waco Symphony Orchestra, Temple Symphony Orchestra, and the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra in San Angelo, Texas. Mr. White also performed in professional string quartets, “pit” orchestras and a country group called “The Streets of Laredo.”

Professionally he is serving as a music faculty member of the Clark County School District at Moapa Valley, NV.
