Virgin Valley High School’s Moises Medina will continue to pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player by committing to Dixie State University in St. George Utah. Medina received a scholarship beginning in the fall of 2016. Medina will join his brother Gabe who started for the Red Storm this year as a freshman. Bulldog soccer coach Mike Pletzke said,” DSU soccer coach Josh Pittman is excited about teaming Moises up with his brother Gabe.”

Medina will be traveling to Denver in June as a member of the Youth 17 Fire Team to play in a major tournament. “Thank God my hard work and determination worked,” said Medina. “I feel blessed to get this opportunity to continue my education. I’m really excited to be playing with my brother Gabe again. I haven’t chosen a college major yet but will wait and see.” Medina made the 1-A Sunrise League first team and 1-A Southern Division second team this past season.
