Over the past two weeks, the Mesquite Police Department has been investigating multiple vehicle burglaries which have been occurring from inside parked motor vehicles.  Over this same time period, Mesquite patrol officers and detectives have been working together on following multiple leads.  Evidence obtained through the investigation led them to two specific suspects.  On December 15, officers made contact with both suspects and were able to connect them to multiple vehicle burglaries.  Both suspects were taken into custody and a search warrant was obtained and served on their residence.  Detectives were then able to seize a large amount of property confirmed to be stolen.  The suspects had also been using stolen credit cards and stolen checks to purchase items from local businesses.
