94-yr-old WWII vet Eddie Gutierrez, left and 15-yr-old VVHS high school student Hadyn Davis regale a group of two dozen local women gathered to exchange home-baked cookies for giving to others in the community. Four generations apart yet connected by their love of music, they experienced a unique bond playing together for the first time and blessed the appreciative audience with Christmas songs to ring in the season. Davis was playing to gain community volunteering experience for his college applications. Neither was paid, of course, but each left with a load of fresh-baked, homemade cookies.
