October brings the return of the snowbirds. Your local Mesquite real estate agents helped them find new nests by closing 43 residential properties.
An additional 47 properties and 13 single family lots went into pending status for closure at a later date. Although this information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private (for sale by owner) home sales.
Real estate professionals reported that 29 single family homes closed/sold during October 2015. The lowest priced home, a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1024 SF home in the Rivers Bend neighborhood sold for $117,000; the highest priced homes, a 3 bedroom/4.25 bath, 3937 SF home in the Pinnacle II subdivision sold for $474,000.
During this same time, 7 condominiums and 7 townhomes sold. An 1192 SF, 2 bedroom/2 bath home in the Rock Springs II community sold for $57,000;
a 3 bedroom/1.75 bath, 1282 SF home located in the Falls Hillside Villas community sold for $119,000. The lowest priced townhome residence, a 1030 SF, 2 bedroom/1.75 bath home in the Mesa Townhouses subdivision sold for $91,500; the highest priced townhome residence, a 4 bedroom/2 bath, 1982 SF home in the Coyote Willows neighborhood sold for $235,900.
