While attempting to park in the closest spot to the office at about 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 26, one of the business’ tenants accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, thrusting the Toyota Camry into the glass windows of JPM’s conference room. At the time, no one was inside the room, so there were no injuries reported from the incident.
“It sounded like a bomb went off,” the employees told the MLN.
In an email from Lieutenant MaQuade Chesley, Mesquite Police Department’s Public Information Officer, the name of the driver will not be released and no charges were made to the driver since it was a private property accident.
“We’re very thankful no one was hurt,” said Property Manager Lucy Rutner.
