Phillip Patrick Henderson, (Woo-Woo!) was born March 17, 1950 to the late James and Faustina Henderson in Gary, Indiana where he grew into manhood.Obituary-Henderson-10-08-15

Phillip Graduated from Frobel High School, class of 1968. He worked the Steel Mill and even operated a pizza parlor. Not fully satisfied with the city, he then relocated to Nevada with his mother, where he started his infamous bartending career. Later moving to Wendover, Nevada he met the love of his life Kimberly. The family finally planted roots in Mesquite, Nevada where he finally felt at home.

He will forever remain one of the greatest and funniest men in the business. You always left his bar with a smile. His last job he had was at Dotty’s where his customers he loved would remember his laughing and singing. He was a man whose family meant everything. Yes, blood is thicker than water but if you became a friend he loved you like family.

Phillip Patrick Henderson peacefully entered the realm of eternal life October 2, 2015, where he would reunite with his parents and earlier passed brother, James Henderson Jr. He leaves to celebrate his cherished memories to his beloved Wife, Kimberly; his 4 sons, Phillip, Zachary, Bryton and Chase; brothers and sisters, Rose, Glenn, Patricia, Tony, Daryl, and Latoya; many nieces and nephews; and three Grandchildren. Phillip stepped in many of our lives as a male role model and mentor. There is much love to their Uncle Woo. Even the Children of Mesquite would yell “love you Uncle Woo Woo.”

There will be a service held at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E Old Mill Road, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 10.
