Ann-Marie Isenburg was born December 19, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah and died October 5, 2015 in St. George, Utah of interstitial lung disease. She is survived by her sons, Mark Isenburg and his wife Janet Bloom, and Russel Isenburg; two brothers, Mark Heugly and Len Heugly; and one sister, Esther Criss Rudy.
Ann-Marie owned and managed her own clothing store until she sold it and moved to Merida, Mexico where she became fluent in Spanish. She had lived in Mexico, Texas, Utah, California, Arizona and Nevada. While in Nevada, she founded and taught the Mesquite Boots line dancing group and Pups and Pals, where she taught dog obedience. She loved life and lived it to the fullest and loved both people and dogs.
Special thanks go out to her caregivers, Kay Spearman and Darlene Torres, who cared for her from the time she had a third of her lung removed until her death. If Ann-Marie wanted a garden, Kay planted it. If she wanted flowering plants in pots around her home, Kay came and watered them twice a day. Ann-Marie said she had to be careful what she wished for because Kay and Darlene would magically make it appear. She left half her heart with Kay when she left her Navidad, Ann-Marie’s maltese.
We pray that she is with her mother whom she loved so dearly. A viewing will be held on October 10 at 2 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 Old Mill Road, with services following at 3 p.m. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Her special grace and love for her friends will be truly missed.

Although I only met Ann-Maries once , I knew her very well. We talked on the phone and computer more than weekly since hers and my baby Navi was born. She kept me with a steady supply of pictures of every thing she and Navi and her friends did. I guess she is visiting with Feliz now, and watching down on Navidad. RIP I love you from out here in Georgia, soon to be Florida..
I only met Ann-Marie once when I turned over my baby to Anne marie. She and Navi were meant to be together, God told me that and I made it happen. I feel I know her as well as her many friend in Nevada. I was sent pictures of every thing she and Navi did, a couple videos. I spent time with her on the phone and was looking forward to the surprise picture of Navi in costume for halloween. She so looked forward to it.I am sure she is playing with Feliz and is looking down on Navi. I love you Ann-Marie
I know you left your heart with Navidad and the doggie park in Mesquite. It will never be the same without you. Balderdash and Ann-Marie are synonymous; did you take the trophy with you? You were loved and will be missed by your friends.
