Once again this year the Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations that offer programs and projects for women and girls in the southern Utah, Mesquite, Nevada, and northwest Arizona region.

Formed in May, 2013, the Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is an active and fun community of local women, diverse in interests and backgrounds, who pool their friendship, intellect and resources to effect change for women and girls in the “three corners” region. The Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is proud to be a fund of The Community Foundation of Utah (utahcf.org).

Through philanthropic involvement the giving circle empowers women and girls in our region by funding projects and programs in the areas of:
• Safety and Health
• Education
• Economic Advancement and Leadership

In the past 2 years, by vote of the membership, the giving circle has granted a total of $25,000 to local nonprofits including the Assistance League of Southern Utah, Erin Kimball Foundation, The Learning Center for Families, and the Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic.

On August 3, 2015 the grant application for the January, 2016 grant awards will be posted and can be downloaded from our website: threecornerswgc.wordpress.com/voting

The deadline for the applications to be received is September 30, 2015.

All other details of the application process can be found in the application document on the website.

The Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle holds four meetings per year and welcomes new members.
