The Virgin Valley High School Lady Bulldogs easily defeated the Desert Pines Jaguars 14-4 Thursday afternoon in a mercy rule five inning game. Tylee Robison led the Bulldog onslaught with three hits including a double. Adri Wakefield and Emma Barnum combined for a five hit win. Wakefield pitched the first two innings and Barnum finished for the win. The Dawgs had their best offensive display of the season with 18 hits.

The Lady Dawgs blasted the Jaguars in the first inning for 8 runs, two in the second, one run in the third and finished the scoring with four runs in the fourth. The Jaguars managed three runs in the top of the third. The Dawgs hosted Pahranaghat Valley yesterday and beat them with a score of 6 to 5. It was their last game before taking spring break off and returning on April 7 to host Sunrise Mountain. Despite an overall record of 3-15, the Dawgs are only 2-3 in Sunrise League play.
