Katherine Cole will instruct a jewelry-making workshop March 20, 12-3 p.m., at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center classroom.  This is a special “treasure necklace” class that will teach students how to recycle old chains, charms, and other treasures that are too good to throw away.  Those who have a stash of single earrings, old chains and brooches with broken clasps can come away from this workshop with a brand new, distinctive necklace that is sure to draw compliments.

Students, bring your treasured keepsakes, chains, keys, lockets, etc.  Tools will be provided, along with additional clasps, connectors for hanging items, wire, and beading thread.  Sign up in advance at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery front desk.  Class fee of $20 is paid direct to instructor on day of class.  Call Katherine Cole with any questions:  775-750-6222, or email thebeadcrafter@gmail.com.
