The Virgin Valley Little League program held their annual skills day tryouts Saturday at the VVHS fields. Approximately 300 youngsters have signed up to play in 2015. Only in its third year of play, the VVLL has been a huge success for the valley’s youth. 125+ young girls will play softball this year plus 160+ boys will be on the baseball fields.

Saturday’s tryouts were held to determine experience of the players prior to the league’s draft Monday March 2. All players will be assigned to a team based on their age bracket. VVLL coaches and staff with the help of the VVHS softball and baseball teams ran the youngsters through various drills during the tryouts. League play will begin in early April.
