Mesquite Elks’ Chazahm Invitational Golf Tournament
The Mesquite Elks Lodge announces the annual CHAZHM Invitational Golf Tournament in memory of Charlie Zahm to support the Virgin Valley Little League. The event will be held at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course on Sunday, March 1, 2015 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Individuals or teams of four can sign-up at the Mesquite Elks Lodge, 545 Riverside Road or by calling Geno Withelder at (702)379-1931. The cost is $65 per player and includes the round of golf, lunch and awards. The lunch and awards will be held at the Mesquite Elks Lodge immediately following the golf tournament.
All proceeds will be donated to the Virgin Valley Little League on behalf of the Zahm family and the Mesquite Elks Lodge.
Mesquite Elks Spring Bowling Tournament
The Mesquite Elks Lodge #2811 announces that it will be sponsoring a bowling tournament on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Virgin River Bowling Center. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. with the tournament starting no later than 10 a.m. The tournament format will be 3 games mixed team handicap – four-person teams with each gender on every team.
This tournament is a fundraiser for the Elks Lodge to help support the many programs and services offered to the community. It is designed to be a fun event and the Elks want everyone to participate – experienced and beginner bowlers. Team prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams. There will also be a 50/50 cash drawing, raffle prizes and silent auction items will be offered.
The minimum age is 18. You do not have to have an established handicap to play. The event is open to everyone. Cost is $30 per bowler – $120 per team.
Come have an enjoyable morning of bowling. Meet your fellow citizens. And, help support the many worthwhile programs sponsored by the Elks Lodge.
