Ashley Espin is the 24 year-old daughter of Marc and Marie Espin of Reno, Nev.  She enjoys snowboarding, water skiing, riding her horse and cruising on her Harley Davidson.  Espin plans to finish a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Civil Engineering in hopes of working at Disney as an Engineer.

Espin will represent the state of Nevada at the 61st Annual 2016 Miss Rodeo America Pageant this December during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. She will compete against state titleholders from across the nation, in the categories of Horsemanship, Personality, Appearance, and Speech. Contestants range in age from 19 to 25, and each take to heart the job of representing America’s sport of rodeo. They are first cowgirls and athletes in their own right, having the knowledge of their sport and the gift of communication to educate the public and raise the awareness level about professional rodeo and its related industries such as agriculture, western apparel, and entertainment.
