February is “Healthy Heart Month!” The City of Mesquite Athletics & Leisure Services Department and Mesa View Regional Hospital invite you to join them for the 11th Annual Mesquite Heart Walk.

The 5K (3.2 miles) walk begins at the Mesquite Recreation Center at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 13. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Mesquite Recreation Center East Gym. From 8:30 to a few minutes before the walk, they will have registration and a small warm up for the participants, sponsored by the Life Long Program in the gym.

The walk ends at the Mesa View Quick Care Facility, located to the left of the hospital where the hospital will provide a heart health snack, water, Heart Health information and a small prize.

Everyone is invited and there is no cost to participants.

Transportation back to the Mesquite Recreation Center will be provided by the Silver Rider Bus Company at no charge. Rides back will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will run until 11:30 a.m.
